We like to extend our thanks to Discover Chaplin for the mention in their newsletter of our Edna Purviance video event at Cinecon coming this Labor Day weekend in Hollywood.
Also congratulations to Lisa Stein for her work on the 1930s re-issued published piece for Progetto Chaplin book series called 'A Comedian Sees the World'. In Italian, it is available through Discover Chaplin or bosa(at)aliceposta.it. Miss Stein is working on a future book about the life and art of Sydney Chaplin, Charlie Chaplin's brother.
Update December 2007 - The Chaplin Newsletter was posted for the last time, as writer Dr. Lisa Stein is busy working on her book about Sydney Chaplin. We like to send our best wishes with her new project. You can learn more at her site called Syd Chaplin.
February 2008 - Note about Discover Chaplin. I have been informed by Ted Lu their Discover Chaplin web site is being updated and maybe off the web at this time.

St. Louis will be the site for an important Charlie Chaplin Film Festival in fall of 2006. Eight of his greatest features will be shown in 35mm, each feature to be shown with one of his shorts. The Festival begins/began August 25, and runs every weekend through Oct. 15. For information, go to www.webster.edu/filmseries.html. That's Webster University, in St. Louis.
