'The Kid' is a special film for Edna. Glad the 1921 version was released in the 1990's so we could see more of Edna's scenes too.

Edna was known as a very kind and generous person, as Chaplin would have learned being with her. I found this true even in her early days in Lovelock. She had a great teacher in her mother, Louise, who was always known as a generous and kind people who helped others.

Glad you enjoyed the site and thanks for visiting... - L

The Immigrant (usually), just because of the obviously strong relationship that comes through between Charlie and Edna. And that last scene at the marriage bureau is very hert-warming and naturally played.

The Adventurer, because Edna seemed like a mature, galmorous, sophisticated woman, not just an innocent girl.

Thanks for your comment on The Adventurer! She did appear quite sophisticated in that one...
